POLITICAL PERSECUTION IN MARICOPA COUNTY

MARICOPA-COUNTYBy: Selwyn Duke
So this is a story of corruption. There is the garden variety, in which those who walk tall and stand against evil are targeted by those who wish to continue enriching themselves. But then there is the kind that is another hallmark of despotic regimes: political persecution. It is a phenomenon of fascism, whereby those who toe your line get benefits, and those who don’t get intimidated into silence or, when they’re too stout-hearted, destroyed.

THE BLACK US ATTORNEY HAS COMMON CAUSE WITH THE BLACK CRIMINAL

holder-impeachBy Selwyn Duke
According to Department of Justice whistleblower J. Christian Adams, AG Eric Holder has a certain something in his wallet. It is a quotation – and he has carried it for decades. It essentially says, to quote Adams, “Blackness is more important than anything, and the black US attorney has common cause with the black criminal.” It’s not surprising that Holder would feel this way about black lawyers and criminals.

HOW TO RESTORE FREEDOM OF ASSOCIATION AND END GOVERNMENT TYRANNY

nwo-resistBy Selwyn Duke
Unfortunately, many Americans have become inured to the trampling of freedom of association. You can work your fingers to the bone starting a business, and the government becomes a partner that contributes nothing but extracts much. It not only shares your profits and regulates you to death, but, more to the point here, dictates whom you must serve and the bases on which you may hire and fire people. And woe betide he who doesn’t bow before Leviathan.

You can touch my junk

dont-touch-my-junkBy Selwyn Duke
If I have any junk, it won’t be on my body and probably will end up in the trash bin. And if the TSA wants to rummage through it, hey, be my guest. It’s said that you can tell a lot about a person by examining his refuse. So you can touch my junk — but let’s be a bit more careful when we lay our hands on the language, shall we?

Barak Obama: The Man Who Would Be God?

obama-sunkingBy Selwyn Duke
When writing about Barack Obama’s religious orientation recently, I pointed out that while I do believe he favors Muslim over Western culture, bowing before another — even God — is above his humility grade. I further mentioned that in keeping with this self-centeredness, Obama is (like all leftists) someone who denies moral reality.

The truth about Obama’s Muslim “Faith”

obama-muslim3By Selwyn Duke
Now that Barack Obama has decided to be for the Ground Zero mosque before being implicitly against it (perhaps), discussion about his faith has once again reached a fever pitch. To many, his stance proves he’s a Muslim, with a recent poll showing that almost 20 percent of Americans hold that opinion.

Understanding the global-warming jihadists

gore-moneyClimategate, the scandal everyone is talking about and that inspired British journalist James Delingpole to write “it’s [the climate con is] all unravelling now.” I only wish I could be so optimistic. Sure, we have the smoking gun of the hacked emails from the University of East Anglia, which provide evidence that we “deniers” were only denying a lie.

All The President's Bigoted Men

obama-cabinetAs for politically liberal blacks, the reality is that they are consumed by race. They live and die with it, eat it and breathe it. As an example, consider a certain affirmation black women sometimes utter to young black boys: “You’re going to grow up to be a strong, young black man!” Now, this isn’t designed simply to reassure the lads that they’re not going to go the way of Michael Jackson. There is another reason.

Mark Sanford And The Left’s Romper Room Commentary

COLUMBIA, SC - JUNE 24: South Carolina Gov. M...There is probably nothing that pleases our libertine left more than a social conservative’s fall from grace. Just witness the predictable feeding frenzy that ensued when South Carolina governor Mark Sanford confessed to marital infidelity. Why, so voracious are his critics that a Google search for Sanford’s name in parentheses and the word “hypocrite” yields 20,600 of their pages.

The Ugly Face Behind The Liberal Mask

liberal-bootIt has been interesting watching the response to the Honduran military’s recent ousting of its nation’s president, Manuel Zelaya. Barack Obama called the action “not legal” and Hillary Clinton said that the arrest of Zelaya should be condemned. Most interesting, perhaps, is that taking this position places them shoulder to shoulder with Fidel Castro, Daniel Ortega and Venezuelan’s roaring mouse, Hugo Chavez, who is threatening military action against Honduras.

Banning Michael Savage From Britian

savageWhen I awoke Tuesday morning, I ambled over to the computer, as is my wont, and made my usual cyber rounds. I logged on to the Drudge Report and, lo and behold, saw the following headline, “RADIO HOST MICHAEL SAVAGE BANNED FROM UK FOR ‘EXTREME VIEWS’….” “Wow,” I thought, “Britain strikes again.”
The prohibition is the handiwork of England’s Home Secretary, Jacqui Smith, who included Savage on a list of 16 unwelcome individuals whom she wanted to “name and shame.”

Notre Dame’s Betrayal Of Faith

obama-abortion2While leftists can pontificate all they like about “academic freedom,” they draw lines like anyone else. Would they hire a professor or schedule a speaker who would advocate the extermination of a minority? If not, why? I mean, whomever they chose will be a sinner, and do not judge lest ye be judged, right? And, would they entertain a debate about the reinstitution of slavery or whether or not germs really cause disease? How about trephination (drilling a hole in someone’s head) as a solution to mental illness?

Obama gunning for the Second Amendment

gun-rightsSo what is the latest change you can believe in? Gordon Hutchinson reports at a blog called “The Shootist” that Obama has just disallowed the Department of Defense (DOD) from selling spent brass shell casings to manufacturers of ammunition for the civilian market. This means that these companies will now have to by new brass and produce their own shell casings, a much more expensive — and wasteful — proposition.

Race In The Third Millennium

By: Selwyn Duke
People have always been raised with certain dogmas. In our time, the three r’s of education are revisionism, relativism, and racism, and we are instilled with the notion that the last thing is the end-all and be-all, the source of all our woes. In fact, the modern version of that old biblical admonition would have to be “Racism is the root of all evil.”

How Barack Obama Will Ensure Victory In 2012

Even before the election, with the realization that a Barack Obama presidency lay on the horizon, many saw a silver lining in the cloud that drifted into Washington, DC, from the left coast. “The right will be re-energized,” many thought, “and we’ll have a better Republican candidate and improved prospects in 2012.”

Obama: Fear and the Security Force

In all my life I have never seen such intense emotion surrounding a leader as that evoked by Barack Obama. Even Ronald Reagan, the Gipper himself, didn’t enjoy the kind of prostration of the will offered to the president-elect by hordes of followers. Yet, while people the world over are imbued with “hope” and chant Obama’s slogan “Yes, we can!” – for instance, the French are using their translation of it, “Oui, nous pouvons!” – some of the intense emotion is of a very different species.

BARACK OBAMA'S CAMPAIGN OF THE LIE

By Selwyn Duke
Absent the ability to read minds and hearts, I can’t really tell you if Barack Obama is uniquely dishonest. What is for certain, though, is that his campaign is uniquely deceitful. These two things are not synonymous. Politicians are famous for suppressing facts and manufacturing fantasies to hide their faults, and, while Obama certainly practices this sleight-of-hand, I can’t say he is more inured to it that your average prevaricating pol. But what is doubtless is that he has more faults to hide.
