Baby Growth Chart Calculator

Our growth percentile calculator is a helpful tool for parents who want to track their baby’s growth and development. By entering your child’s weight and height (or length), our calculator will provide you with a percentile ranking that compares your baby’s size to other children of the same age.

For example, if your 3-month-old baby is in the 40th percentile for weight, it means that 40% of babies of the same age weigh less than your baby, while 60% weigh more. This information can be useful for parents who want to make sure their baby is growing at a healthy and consistent rate.

While our calculator is a great tool for tracking your baby’s growth, it’s important to remember that it’s not a substitute for regular check-ups with a healthcare provider. During these visits, your pediatrician will measure your baby’s weight and length (or height) as well as other important markers of growth and development.

It’s also important to keep in mind that every child is different, and there is a wide range of “normal” when it comes to growth and development. Some babies may be in the 10th percentile for weight, while others may be in the 90th percentile. What matters most is that your baby is growing at a healthy and consistent rate, regardless of their percentile ranking.

Measuring your baby’s weight and length at home can be a helpful way to keep track of their growth between doctor’s visits. To measure your baby’s weight, undress them completely (including removing their diaper) and step on a scale while holding your baby. Record the weight and then subtract your own weight to get an estimate of your baby’s weight.

To measure your baby’s length (or height), lay them down on a flat surface and use a measuring tape to measure from the top of their head to the bottom of their heel. Be sure to stretch out their legs as straight as possible to get an accurate measurement.

Remember, if you have any concerns about your baby’s growth or development, don’t hesitate to talk to your pediatrician. They can help answer any questions you may have and provide guidance on how to promote your baby’s healthy growth and development.
